I rescued a caged bird once from a terrible situation. It was stuck, alone, in a corner on a high shelf in a classroom.

Every afternoon I heard its wings flapping against the bars. It made a lot of noise.

I inquired about it with all those in charge. Nobody gave a g#&?!! about it.

They only complained about the noise.

I discovered it was never let out and the person in charge hated it. I then, as calmly as possible, tried to have a conversation about it.

What angered me was their refusal to even discuss possible solutions & humane treatment.

I finally got them to agree to let me take it to a bird sanctuary. Which I did.

That’s all I want to say about it at this time.
