The Right to Write

As you remember what it took to get you onto this road, remember always what it is that you want to say when you get to your destination. Care profoundly about something, and write about it. Write what moves you…that which makes your blood boil and rage against the darkness. Touch passion. Nothing else matters. People will pay for a touch of magic, a scent of passion, to know that somebody still cares about something: a relationship, a beloved relative, a cause, a battle, the fleeting pleasures that speak so profoundly to the human spirit.

I saved this excerpt since college.

I have earned a total of : $ 1055.50 from all my artistic pursuits.

Yet, I still believe the best is yet to come!

To believe in nothing, to care about nothing–is still unacceptable to me.

It’ s kinda weird that some of my posts disappear from the menu.

Hmmmm……..
