The Church, the World, and You

What do the late Reverend Charles F. Stanley, of the In Touch legacy, and James A. Hetfield, the lead vocalist of the band Metallica, have in common?

Voices.

Voices that filled my Spirit in very different ways, at major intersections in my life.

Seeds of the Church and seeds of the world.

I never agreed with all of Dr. Stanley’s teachings, and I’m not a fan of everything Metallica has presented to the world.

But this is the truth:

I heard their voices before I knew them.

On the radio.

In my car.

A preacher, in 1999, and a heavy metal vocalist, many years later.
