“I have chosen the way of truth;” (Psalm 119:30)
If you have faith, but think more like a scientist, you are in lots of good company (I suppose). Actually, I have never separated the two. I mean, they are very compatible. Both leave room for possibilities. And wonder. Both want to know stuff! Both believe there is always more. And a person of faith and/or science usually has a desire to use further knowledge to help, enhance, inspire, encourage, and build up.
Same as “God.” For me, choosing the “way of truth” is the way of a scientist. There is obvious empirical evidence that reveals “mysteries” of life, and there are unknown variables. Things of the spirit are just as real as the atoms that were not always visible to us. At one time, no one knew about the invisible world of protons and neutrons.
“We still do not know one thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us.” –Albert Einstein

It is no different in the spirit realm. Just because we haven’t understood or seen something doesn’t mean it is not present. I have experiences that go beyond the “natural world” and have made it impossible to ignore. Maybe they are like the invisible world displayed under a microscope that was once unknown to us.

In me, God raised up His Law. My messages are just one facet of God’s diamond of Truth. In me, he planted and rooted universal laws, that emphasize the prophets’ concerns with true justice. The specific charge He gave me is the charge He gave to Amos: to point the professing House of God back to His Law. He cemented Amos 7:7-8 in my Spirit.
Here’ s a fun fact:
Amos is an ancestor of Christ.
